Teaching Portfolio
This course aims to support participants’ understanding of the concept of teaching portfolio, as well as their writing of a teaching portfolio of their own. The purpose for writing can vary, whether it is about developing as a reflective teacher, writing for an application to an academic position, a promotion, or a pedagogical award system.
Description
This course is a thematic course providing advanced pedagogical training for teachers across all academic levels at all faculties of Lund University. The course focuses on principles and approaches for documenting pedagogical merits and qualifications – including coursework, teaching experience, and development work – with particular focus on writing and compiling a reflective teaching portfolio.
The course is comprised of a series of workshops where the focus is on the participants' gradual development of their teaching portfolio. Apart from scheduled hours provided in a workshop format, the course comprises individual work on a draft portfolio, as well as reading and providing feedback on other participants’ portfolios.

- Account for the general principles underpinning the assessment of pedagogical competence.
- Provide constructive feedback on teaching portfolios based on the above general principles.
