International networks
International networks
AHU's mission includes following and contributing to knowledge creation nationally and internationally in the field of educational development in higher education. This is mostly done through various networks and conferences. Some of the most important networks in which we are a part, and where LU's work is highly appreciated, are
Swednet (www.swednetwork.se) – a national network for people working with pedagogical development at Swedish universities. Organizes an annual conference, literature seminars, research days, etc.
ICED (http://icedonline.net/) – International Consortium for Educational Development; an international network of national networks for pedagogical development. Organizes a conference every other year and publishes a peer-reviewed journal the International Journal for Educational Development.
ISSOTL (http://www.issotl.org/) – International Society for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning; an international network with a focus on North America that focuses on the conditions for the professional development of university teachers.
