Teaching for Sustainability: Sustainability in STEM Education
Join us for an interactive workshop on integrating sustainability into STEM education, by exploring interactive methods and educational research.
Laura Weitze is a professor of engineering communication at the University of Applied Sciences in Nürnberg, visiting CEE to join our efforts in the Teaching for Sustainability initiative. Laura will give a workshop with a keynote speech, which will focus on the integration of sustainability into STEM teaching in higher education. Interactive formats and methods of lectures will be presented and discussed. A particular focus will be on teaching attitudes and the support of sustainable teaching and learning. The aim is to share experiences and discuss possible educational research and approaches for impact measuring.
The workshop will be in English.

About the Organisers
The workshop is organised by the Centre for Engineering Education, LTH, as part of the initiative Teaching for Sustainability. We aim to support educators, by developing and organising pedagogical coursework, training opportunities, workshops, expert-led seminars, and other inspiration-rich resources. Our ultimate goal is to foster a culture that enriches the educational experience for both educators and students that meaningfully advances sustainability.
